Ryan van Strien, account manager at Dynaplant, sees HortiHeat as an ideal solution for fast switching during the season. “Our trade with callas is similar to that of a cut flower grower: as soon as the plant is ripe, it has to go right out the door to maintain quality. Dynaplant currently uses order lists primarily for day trading, when supply exceeds demand. Through the link between HortiHeat and Floriday, Dynaplant easily retrieves products from Floriday and adds them to an order list. “The biggest advantage? The ease of use and wide customer reach with one mailing,” Ryan says. “Plus, we can format the order lists in our own recognizable layout, which fits with the professionalism we want to project as a company.”
